Wasn't really sure which category to put this in...
Photo was taken last week at the 2006 International Balloon Fiesta, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This was at night, during the "Glowdeo". This particular balloon was a freakin' tall eagle - amazing they can get these things off the ground.
The title for the photo was taken from the opening track on Demon Hunter's "Triptych" album.
Photo was converted to B&W in raw mode, then toned to sepia, using Canon's Digital Photo Professional.
As a testament to Canon technology, I was able to snap off several shots successfully, while a guy standing next to me couldn't get any off using his much more expensive Nikon - maybe it was operator error, but he seemed to know what he was doing.
